ROBERT D. BENJAMIN                         

  • Robert BenjaminFull-time practicing mediator since 1979 in business, commercial and divorce conflicts
  • Received law (J.D.) and social work (M.S.W.) degrees from St. Louis University
  • Author of Business, Family and Divorce Mediation: Forms and Practice Handbook; regular contributor to legal and mental health publications, including the BNA Family Law Reporter
  • Presents mediation workshops, seminars and training courses throughout the United States including law schools and universities
  • Adjunct Assistant Professor at Washington University, George Warren Brown School of Social Work, and Adjunct Professor of Mediation in the Conflict Resolution Program at Indiana State University
  • Member of the Dispute Resolution Section of the American Bar Association and Missouri Bar Association
  • Practitioner member and Past President of the Academy of Family Mediators (AFM). Member of the Society of Professionals in Dispute Resolution (SPIDR). Former member of the Board of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC)
Other faculty may include practicing mediators in the local area of the training program as presenters on selected topics and as coaches of small group simulation work sessions throughout the course.
